Unfortunately, it's still a scientific mystery. However, we now know they LOVE paper bags.

I'm pretty sure I've heard that music before. I think it was a movie about a copier repair man?

It's easy to lose the sense of scale when watching those cats. I kept looking down at my cat to see what she would do.

Oh I know exactly what my cats would do: roll around in bliss like the leopard, then swat each other sulkily like the lynxes. It's very amusing to watch big cats do what little cats do. And terrifying to think of it going the other way when you see your housecat stalk and pounce on a beetle or something. When it's a tiger, you're the beetle.

"Dude, don't bogart the nip."

Great vid, even with the cheesy porn soundtrack.

I don't give my kits catnip, as I wind up bleeding from scratches, only because I feel compelled to try to play with them when they're high. Then the comedown and everyone's all bitchy and stuff.

Honestly though, a fistful of nip in a wadded up paper bag? For a tiger? I was hoping for a five gallon bucket of stuff on the ground for big cat enjoyment.

Bliss interrupted by ew-paper-mouth. Visually reminds me of dogs eating peanut butter.

Why go for a single link? Basically everything in BigCatRescue's YouTube stream is worth watching. I'm a particular fan of the Halloween pumpkins (if you know how to de-advertisement that second link, please do so).

Also, more importantly, lasers.

OK, really, do we understand anything about this? I mean, some of these animals, analogously, appear to be tripping balls. Are they? What's happening in their brains?
