Ever wonder about the Islamic Calendar? finishing up the month of Rajab about Oct 16 "The number of months with Allah has been twelve months by Allah's ordinance since the day He created the heavens and the earth. Of these four are known as sacred" (Holy Quran, ch., v 36)Muharram, Rajab, Dhul Qadah and Dhul Hijja are considered to be sacred months. Fighting during these sacred months is considered to be a sin. I am so ignorant of other cultures.

was not suggesting sept 11th.
I thought the significance, Rajab the holy month ends around October 16th. It won't be a sin to wage war after that, during the month of say Sha ban, which starts in the US on or about October 17th.
Considering the FBI alert yesterday it might be worth noting.
Also the Islamic Holy Day Lailat al Miraj (27 Rajab):
The night journey and ascent of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), and the revelation of Salat.
is celebrated Rajab 27 the equivalent of October 15th.

Notice also on your calendar pic that RJ does not start until September the 19. Which would be precisely right the the bombings on the 11th did not occur during an Islamic Holy month.

Aren't the Taliban and the Northern Alliance waging war right now? Man, Allah is going to be pissed!

Well, last I read they were shooting back and forth, but no casualties to report. And I would think "an extreme observant Muslim" probably wouldn't issue an order to kill when it was strictly forbidden by the Koran.
