Hungarian designer Martzi Hegedűs has created a single typeface, titled Frustro, on the sole premise of making it impossible.
This hurts deliciously.

That's actually really cool - I was expecting something like that nutty dotty font from a few days ago.

In general, I think you need a closed loop for a letter to be made "impossible" in this way.

The perfect font for public transit. Everyone already thinks their transit system is designed to fuck with them - now there is the font to PROVE IT.

I thought so too, but look at 'E'. It seems more like you need two or more "nodes", a node being either where two lines meet, or a single line turns so that one of its four sides gets hidden and another side gets un-hidden.

No. The two horizontal bars are incongruous.

The 'G' is pretty awesome - reminds me of the infinity symbol.

Surely the angle you see most often says something about the way your brain is wired. Also...ouch.

I was wondering how they would do "I" but I guess they did OK. Still 'possible' but not as a rectangular solid.

Whoa.
Now I want to incorporate it into my CAD isometric drawings, just to fuck with plan reviewers. (my plumbers already know I'm nuts.)
