Well those first two sum up my exact situation at this moment. And I feel even more like a loser for not doing something remotely as cool as playing skyrim or texting or eating. So um, thanks?

It was sunny in London today. Also, I watched two episodes of Walker Texas Ranger, ate 4 mini battenbergs, and took a four-hour nap.

What's better than killing dragons? Quiting Skryim cold turkey, that's what is better. It is a beautiful day it is outside in the real world!

The real world didn't just get new kill-cams for ranged attacks in the 1.5 update though!

Fun-ny. I'd like them to make some for bitter people who have to do chores today.

Maybe I just have British Modernism on the brain (I usually do), but it amazes me a little how much contemporary travel advertising is still emulating Edward McKnight Kauffer.

Well thanks for that. It was the impetus I needed to get off the couch and go for a walk and also some Korean food.

These are awesome. My only issue is with how the author - a self confessed nomadic spirit - brands them as activities for lazy people... I don't vacation in the ways described by the posters because I'm lazy. I do it because I really do care about the environment. I want to turn the guilt complex around... the losers are the people that don't choose to vacation in these ways and instead go out and trample the already beaten paths of the world.

The world doesn't need another picture of the Amazon. If I stay home and buy a book about the Amazon from Amazon.com I just saved money and the Amazon's environment.

I am going keep these as ammunition for friends who still believe doing 'interesting' things in the 'real world' somehow makes them interesting and real. It doesn't. There is nothing interesting about being ignorant and selfish. Every time someone goes out a little bit of the earth dies... yep! And I'm no hippy mind you, it's just the math.

Help fight the meme that 'going out' is good. Stay home. Save the planet.

Wait -- there are ranged attack kill-cams now? Be right back -- I have to try that with my one-shot/one-kill ebony bow (170 damage points * 2x critical hit * 3x sneak bonus).

Just when I thought I was done with that accursed game!

Um, yeah, the powers of hulu have caused me to watch 7 seasons of the Peep Show and 2 seasons of The Book Group over the past couple of weeks. Only problem is that now I want to go on a trip (maybe permanently?) to the UK. So...really...the poster's message backfired on me.

This one hit a little too close to home for me also. Before I had kids, I looked forward to sleeping in on Saturday mornings. Now I daydream about that when a little voice from the other room yells "Is it morning yet...!?!?" at 6:23 am on Saturday morning.

So, no, not funny. But my wounds are self-inflicted.

The sun around here gives people cancer. Don't tell me to go outside unless you're happy to give me a chunk of skin to replace the bits I've already had cut out.

You need to upgrade that to a legendary quality daedric bow pimped out with double enchantments. 240 base damage * 2x critical hit * 3x sneak bonus + 30 fire damage + 30 electrical damage (+15 magicka damage).

(Don't forget to use daedric arrows with it, of course, for those few extra damage points. If you arm your archer follower with a single daedric arrow, the henchmen unlimited ammunition scripts will provide you with a slow but steady accumulation of daedric arrows to scavenge from the corpses of the enemies they attack.)
