You just saved me the $35 it was going to cost to go see "Hunger Games". posted by HuronBob at 8:11 AM on March 31, 2012 [2 favorites]

and other musical works (a dub step treatment of Les Miserables)
Oh, you didn't post the link to One Day More, which is actually a pretty brilliant video of that song all around, and a more interesting remake of the song.
Really pleased with the quality of voices in those Les Miz remakes, actually.
This is an interesting project all around. Thanks for posting. posted by hippybear at 8:17 AM on March 31, 2012
Also... the title of this post is entirely from Sondheim's Into The Woods, for those wondering. posted by hippybear at 8:34 AM on March 31, 2012 [1 favorite]

"If the end is right it justifies the beans."
Am I missing something? Is this supposed to be an original musical? Because that is a lyric from Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods. posted by tzikeh at 1:15 PM on March 31, 2012
*headdesk* reading comprehension fail. I didn't realize that the title was not one of the lyrics from the Beanie Baby Hunger Games.
Thanks, Hippybear. posted by tzikeh at 1:16 PM on March 31, 2012
Nah, I should have been less coy and more clear with the thread title and the content of the Hunger Games video, which is not a musical at all, just a 11 minute version of the first book, acted out with Beanie Babies. posted by ZeusHumms at 2:10 PM on March 31, 2012
