Nervous seems to borrow from Visage's Fade to Grey while Just a Boy Sounds like an early Kraftwerk tribute, except both sung by Rick Astley, then Shout It Out has that distinctive Imogene Heap tone. Interesting mix of influences.

I'd put him closer to Arthur Russell in terms of his scatter-shot music-making and especially his "I'm singing what I'm seeing" approach to lyrics Compare Russell's "See My Brother, He's Jumping Out (Let's Go Swimming #1)" on Springfield.
