Thirty three years ago Monty Python's sendup of the life and tribulation (but not the ressurection) of Christ was met with equal measures adulation and outrage. The week of the film's release Michael Palin and John Cleese were interviewed by the BBC's Tim Rice. They were joined by Christian apologist Malcom Muggeridge and the Bishop of Southwark who struck up a spirited, and often hilarious debate.
