His response nailed the concerns in my letter, so I believe it was actually read.
I don't really think Biden needs videos like this. He says stupid stuff all on his own. I've kind of always admired this about him. posted by cjorgensen at 8:28 PM on April 16, 2012 [1 favorite]
7 seconds of this is funnier than any random 45 minute set of any Alice Cooper concert. posted by Meatbomb at 8:28 PM on April 16, 2012
Biden, as a human being and not a pod-person/cyborg, says things that he actually believes and tries to respond to the questions he's asked and not a pre-programmed set of PR talking points. If that means he fudges it sometimes, that still puts him ahead of almost everyone else in my book.
I used to live in Delaware. Biden's well-liked there for a damned good reason. posted by 1adam12 at 8:31 PM on April 16, 2012 [16 favorites]

Nothing against Joe Biden, but that's my favorite of these so far- it oddly came across as the most lucid BLR, in terms of narrative coherence. Most of these are amusing, but as a series of complete non-sequitor phrases; either the dubber is getting much better, or Biden lends himself unintentionally well to making extended, sexually charged monologues of bad lip-reading. posted by hincandenza at 9:51 PM on April 16, 2012
Wasn't this whole idea started by George H.R.H.W. Bush, with his self-inflicted BLR? posted by Kirth Gerson at 4:40 AM on April 17, 2012
I don't know if this is a personal failing on my part, but the voice-over guy's voice just doesn't sound funny enough to me. posted by orme at 5:28 AM on April 17, 2012

Biden, as a paid prostitute, says things that please his paymasters, the trial lawyers and union brown-shirts. posted by Slithy_Tove at 5:48 AM on April 17, 2012 [1 favorite]
This may even trump the Michelle Bachmann BLR, which was pretty stellar. Only problem is that Biden, in real life, actually says shit that makes as much sense as the video. posted by VicNebulous at 6:30 AM on April 17, 2012

I'm searching for non-hysterical similarities between an orginization of blue collar workers that uses collective action to gain leverage with employers and a Nazi paramilitary group. None immediately come to mind. posted by Winnemac at 8:03 AM on April 17, 2012 [5 favorites]
