I just translated my dog's barks, and she's saying: "Why are we still in DC, asshole - don't you know anthrax effects dogs too? Let's blow town now, or I'm making like Lassie and saving somebody in Idaho." No, I don't actually have a dog, but that's what she'd be saying...

Obligatory Far Side reference: the one cartoon where the guy invents a translator to understand what dogs are saying, and discovers it's "Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! ..."

I always liked the Far Side where the dogs are sitting in front of the closet door, and one dog says to the other "OK - now let's start barking at the door like crazy, watch him freak out" or something like that.
