The Confederate Submarine HL Hunley and some background on the controversy surrounding its discovery. Turns out it was not discovered in 1995 as originally thought, but in 1970 by Dr. Lee Spence.

Interesting stuff, ebarker. I'll dig deeper on my lunch break. At first glance, I believe Dr. Spence indeed discovered the Hunley in 1970. Keep feeding that IA and show me what you find. I dig this kind of archaeologist stuff. Heh, get it, I dig this stuff. Hmm...sorry.
