You really don't get the full website experience, until you click on the jet... then... the music on loop -the music that is the ultimate thank you to me for not keeping up with my Japanese.

The jet is only three apples high, though. Good luck getting in.

If this is a success I'm investing in the "It's a Small World After All" jet.

I'd be kind of into flying on the Invader Zim jet, myself. Bees! Interstellar incompetence! Parking Structure Planets! DOOM! [Note: I would not actually be interested in flying on the Invader Zim jet. God no.]

Eva Air has introduced the Hello Kitty Jet! Hello Kitty!

All airplanes become Hello Kitty airplanes. Drones, ultralight helicopters, strategic bombers, G5s, 24/7 everywhere Hello Kitty.

Full of WIN! I thought the Hello Kitty Washer/Dryer was the zenith of this, but I was wrong. So wrong.

I want to hear that haka.

Perhaps the world would finally see biplanes bomb with fluffy pillows. That could be OK.

In the grim future of Hello Kitty, there is only war.

In the joyful mid-range air travel future of Hello Kitty, there are only* tiny apple tarts served at ~90,000 apples above the earth's surface by smiling staff.

*Well, not counting the beverage in its adorable container.

I want to hear that haka.

No.
No, you don't.
There are worlds other than these* ... and that will open a doorway into one of them.
Vast, non-euclidian, and oh so fluffy.

I can't think of Hello Kitty anymore without thinking of the Hello Kitty murder (warning: extremely disturbing. extremely. cannot be overstated enough. I am totally serious.)

As far as cartoon-covered planes go, the Hello Kitty one is pretty tame compared to this ANA 777 or this 747.

If boybands are your thing, then JAL has the plane for you.

When I was a young boy and living in Saudi Arabia, I took a day trip with my family from Jeddah to Ta'if. My Hello Kitty was a pink plush doll. After sitting in the back of the car for about 5-6 hours, the doll turned a dark blue. The doll went back to a pink color later, but the color change blew my mind at the time.

It would be awesome if this jet did that.

The Hello Kitty plane has been around for years, but until recently I think it only flew Taipei-Fukuoka or Tokyo-Fukuoka.

I wonder whether these flights have air marshals and, if so, if they are dressed like this.

I saw the Hello Kitty plane back in Jan 2007 while on a layover in Tokyo. I was completely feverish at the time, having gotten super sick just before I was scheduled to leave on a major work trip I couldn't get out of. I spotted it outside one of the gates while I was wandering around Narita airport trying to find some kind of drugstore. Ultimately I found a drugstore, bought a box of something from the helpfully labelled "Too Hot" section (hotness was next to "Cough" and "Nose" so I figured it was generally the right kind of thing) that had the Hello Kitty on it - figured that Hello Kitty would be unlikely to actually kill me. Once I had the drugs in hand, I went back to the gate, learned I wasn't hallucinating and took the Hello Kitty medicine next to the Hello Kitty airplane. That magical combination seemed to cure me. I had a photo of the plane somewhere, maybe on an old phone, but can't find it now.

Meanwhile Finnair have an Angry Birds A340.

Wait, someone clicks and what? The speed doubles, the plane splits into three, the plane blows up five seconds later, or the plane turns around and goes backwards?

I'm not actually thrilled by any of those possibilities....

My friend took one of these flights out of Singapore a few weeks ago. She mentioned the Hello Kitty boarding lounge and the Hello Kitty plastic knife and fork. She did not mention the Hello Kitty empty meal box, the Hello Kitty mixed nuts rice crackers, or bring me back the Hello Kitty airsickness bag or a Hello Kitty sugar sachet. WHAT A TERRIBLE FRIEND, I HATE YOU ANDREA.

Really Anoplura? I loved that airlinee when I flew with them in 2006.

Yes indeed, JAL has already debuted a Hello Kitty airplane. Obviously, those higher up are building a squadron of Hello Kitty planes, to be launched from the Hello Kitty aircraft carrier, which keeps it's location a secret in the Pacific.
