It sort of reminds me of the Diane Arbus photos my grandparents used to hang around my crib as an infant.

I'm rather attracted to the haunted painting (but then, I enjoy mysterious, faintly disturbing art (like Goya). A reproduction of this painting would make a nice addition to the wall of my studio...and it would probably lead to some interesting nightmares.
