What video game background characters are thinking

two dimensional blobs [SLCracked-Photoplasty] Cheer-up everybody! Cracked readers show us what they think video game background characters are thinking.

After a difficult week on Metafilter, time for a laugh!

"The characters in the background of our video games have come a long way since their work as two dimensional blobs, cheering you up the ranks of "Mike Tyson's Punch Out." But even the living, breathing citizens of Grand Theft Auto's Liberty City rarely give you an indication of what they're thinking. We asked you to show us the inner lives of the video game world's extras."

I am aware that there is a bit of an issue posting Cracked on Mefi, but I actually laughed at a lot of these, and its also abit geeky, so I figured many on here wouild get a laugh out of it. God knows I needed one after the last fews days on here. Hope it tickles you guys and gals as much as it did me!

#3 is a ripoff homage to this fantastic Mitchell and Webb sketch: Are we the baddies?

Finally, a Cracked.com article that fairly accurately resembles the humour of the original Cracked Magazine.

I battled with the interface, but in the end it was a the total lack of hilarity that defeated me.

I rather liked the one about the poor judgement of the attacker, as, I must admit, I have often wondered for the logic of being an attacker when there's a knee deep pile of dead friends of said attacker surrounding me.

Which actual game does the screenshot from #3 come from (leaving aside the Mitchell and Webb thing)?

Commando (made by Capcom some time in the mid-80s).
