Hitchiking 2.0: From LA to Bonnaroo with no money, no phone, just Twitter.

Oddball comedian Chris Gethard may die on the way to Bonnaroo. Chris Gethard was invited to bring his comedy cavalcade to perform at Bonnaroo in Tennessee. He is well known for doing very strange things in the name of comedy like successfully stalking P-Diddy via social media, taking random people on a bus tour of his life and hosting the saddest talk show in the world. The folks at Bonnaroo asked him what he could do to make his performance "weird". He suggested hitchhiking from L.A. to Bonnaroo with no money, no phone, no planning - just the power of Twitter and the generosity of strangers. He has just hit the road and is somewhere in the Arizona desert. Will he make it, or end up a cautionary tale to comedians who attempt to push the envelope?

Unfunny comedian doesn't know how to be funny, so he comes up with a gimmick. Most likely using these generous strangers as virtual props.

All the performers may die on the way to Bonnaroo. Given that he has a camera crew with him, I don't think he's in that much more danger than normal.
