We've observed how most attempted terrorist attacks since 9/11 were orchestrated by the FBI, previously. A Rolling Stone blogger has now called them out for "singling out ideological enemies [of the State]" such as the FBI's recent Ohio bridge plot, while ignoring much more dangerous right wing groups, including white supremacists.
As a bonus, there have been several interesting pieces by This American Life around the FBI's anti-activists efforts and methods bordering on entrapment as well :

Turncoat - Brandon Darby's efforts spying on activists for the FBI.
