Heh, I liked the detail in the GM article where he asked some kids in the City of Clay to look after his time-lapse rig overnight, but their parents told them they had to go home, so he had to do it himself instead.

This video reminds me of why I hate streaming videos over the internet. A high-quality video filled with such beautiful and calming landscape cinematography ... and I can't enjoy the video properly because my internet has taken it upon itself to destroy the timelapse effect by being all choppy.

RealPlayer actually allows you do download Flash videos to your computer.

There are also Greasemonkey scripts that provide .flv download links for popular video sites.

I, for one, am really glad he made the title, "sacred earth," into Latin. It feels far more sacred that way.

Everything about the aesthetics of this seems to have been genetically engineered to make me loathe it.
