I wish James Richardson was my cool uncle. We could eat cakes.

The Spain one reaffirmed my contempt for Franco.

I really wish I knew why I clicked on this expecting them to be history of the countries, rather than their teams. Still, if James Richardson wanted to narrate an animated history of the Reconquista I would watch that.

I'm really waiting for the Netherlands. I just watched the 74 World Cup Final, and it was really something special. I also recently watched the 90 World Cup match between W. Germany and the Netherlands and it was the exact opposite. World Cup 90 was pretty bad, wasn't it?

Oh who am I kidding, we won't even make it past the group stage. I hope Germany does well.

Hah! Just started with the English one, and wow, so well done! I loved the integration of drawing and animation, like when he draws the simple little tv and it immediately comes to life with static and images. Thanks for posting!

It's been 20 years, Denmark will take it again!

Don't remind me. You lot only got in because Yugoslavia got chucked out and you cost us the title that year...

I so hope we can get revenge for the botched Worldcup final in 2010 because we'd never been closer to the title, not even in '74 (bloody Germans) or '78 (bloody Argentines fixing the matches but we shouldn't have been there anyway and at least Cruijf had the good sense not to go.)

Brocktoon, I stumbled upon it on Youtube. There are quite a few historic matches on there, like the sort of thuggish rematch between the Germans and the Dutch in the 1990 World Cup.

I need a new hobby.

Football Weekly leads me to believe you can get these things on DVD. Admittedly, that would cost money, which is displeasing unless you have a desire to rewatch matches repeatedly.

There are several sites that specialize in old footy matches for DVDs or tape trade. (I know ESPN classic sometimes shows them as well.) MeMail me if you have questions.
