The tricky thing about shooting Phantom is, you never roll, you only cut. The camera is always rolling. Just constantly recording and deleting, recording and deleting. But when you shout "cut", the tech hits a button or something and it actually commits the previous 7 seconds to disk. So the decision making process is totally different. You see something cool happen and think "OK, that will probably look pretty awesome at 1000 fps but I think something even better is going to happen soon so I'm not gonna call it" and every millisecond that something better doesn't happen you move farther and farther away from losing the first moment forever. And at a certain point you have to pull the trigger and be like "FUCK IT THAT WAS THAT'S THE THING, CUT" and then sometimes just as you do something even more awesome happens but you missed it and it's gone, sucks to be you, should have had more patience.I
It's a really tricky camera to use.
