Prostitution is not illegal in Germany and sex workers pay tax on their earnings, but sexual services were previously described as ``immoral'' in the German legal code. More power to them and this whole time they've been paying taxes. I'm still a little fuzzy about the 'retraining' aspect of the law. "Well, I'm a bit rusty on the threesome techniques, can I take a class?"

'Bout time. the government insisted it was not elevating prostitution to the status of a "normal'' job. Though many "normal" jobs sure feel like prostitution...
