A bit more on the Biden one: it was taken on Obama's birthday August 4, 2009. Obama has in his had a box of Callaway golf balls, as can be seen on this hi-res version.

In the cupcake one, it looks like Pres. Obama disapproves of the cupcake flavors. He's like, "I knew we should have gone with red velvet!"

Hint: always go with red velvet. Always.

The hi-res version of the Biden pic also seems to point to The offending crumbs being PIE crumbs as well. And the use of the word "crumbs" also seems to be a bit of a stretch, as Biden seems to have deposited an entire forkful of pie on the floor.

Spilled pie=Redistribution of wealth, golf balls = fealty to corporate overlords.

The entire scene is pretty much a picture perfect representation of this administration's socialist agenda and/or blind allegiance to their Wall st. puppet masters.

This set of images really made me smile. Not only does it show Barack's friendly and personable nature, but it also highlights something that many of us like which is BIRTHDAY CAKE!

It reminds me of an essay that I had to write in an American Literature and Film class. We had to discuss the importance of bowling in North American societies, the role that it played in families, and its symbolism in the movie "The Big Lebowski."

Both birthday cake and bowling alleys are part of the North American tradition, it seems.

People need to start having birthday celebrations at bowling alleys more often.

On that note: mmmm...cake! Oh, and the dude abides, Barack Obama! The dude abides.

For some reason I laughed a great big belly laugh for about a minute solid when I saw that Biden photo. It's got so much in it. The expressions play perfectly to their public personas: Biden as the well-meaning affable bungler, Obama as the good-humored responsible guy who's really trying to take this whole Oval Office thing seriously, but who can't help but smirking at the absurdity of someone spilling their pie on the floor of such a serious place. The hand gesture: a joking "Look what you've done! Do you realize how ridiculous you are?" Biden's reaction: "Oh geez, look at that. No way to hide it now. I dun goofed again... what a riot."

The shot is so well-timed and well-composed. The pie and the crumbs are right there; it paints a completely real and human picture. Feels like getting a glimpse into a multi-layered and totally real moment.

Love the Biden photo. Pic #4 shows a big bowl of apples in the oval office, and looks like Rahm is enjoying 1. Just in case the anti-sugar folks get in a tizz.

Michelle Obama's pinterest has nice pictures. And I love the 1st picture in this series of Behind-the-scenes photographs of the Obama White House. #13 is kinda hilarious. I'm unhappy about more than a few of his decisions, but I generally respect Obama, and like him a lot; not my usual attitude about a politician. He either has a fabulous PR team (quite likely) or is actually a pretty terrific guy. both?
