Why is 'dissects a cat' in scare quotes? Is 'dissecting the cat' some sort of euphemism with which I was heretofore unfamiliar?

Can someone explain what the numbers next to activities are? My high school yearbook didn't have that -- graduating class of 1000 and all -- and I've never been able to figure out what they're for. I thought it was school years, but Gore's go up to VI.

Al Gore nicknames: Al, Gorf

LOVE IT

Also can someone confirm that Romney is holding a (toy?) revolver to his chin in playful ebullience? Or are my eyes misinterpreting the tiny image?

I normally don't like to hold people responsible for poor styling choices from their teenage years. However, John Boehner (11) looks like a shifty creep and Joe Walsh (31) is trying way to hard to be coy. And Janet Napolitano (59) should have known that suit was a bad idea, but many other fell into the same trap....

I don't want to know what Boehner was looking at to induce that sly, puffy look of appraisal.

Maybe Al Gore went to a combined Jr. and Sr. High School.

Ah ha, yes.

We need to switch the definition of "santorum" to be a unit of pants terribleness.

A lot of these people looked like humans originally (notably Romney and Bachmann). But not Lieberman. Oh no, he's always had a self-satisfied smirk. And always been President, I see.

My new theory is that Blago printed out this photo at some huge format and then just cut out the hair portion and has been wearing that for twenty years.

I see Joe Walsh let Rob Liefeld draw his yearbook photo.

and I find it funny that when I couldn't, for some reason, recall Mr Liefeld's name, a quick google search for "worst comic book artist ever" came up with his name instantly.
