We Can Rebuild Him... Pervis' Got Tools

Mike Judge (King of the Hill, Beavis and Butthead) directs and Titmouse (Metalocalyse, Superjail!) produces an animated music video for the Zac Brown Band (categorized as "country, Southern rock, bluegrass, reggae and folk" in Wikipedia) that has nothing to do with the song. Ladies and Gentlefolk, somebody with an excellent sense of humor presents: Robo-Redneck.

That was great. I'm looking forward to Robo Redneck v. The Bionic Peckerwood.

That was surprisingly entertaining.

You know, the music was fine, whatever -- but I just want more episodes of Robo-Redneck.

So I thought that the old man was a bootlegger, but does the crate of cold medicine mean he is cooking meth?

I love that when they go to rebuild him, the first tool out is a Sawz-All.

This is an accurate portrayal of redneck project management.

"We're just hanging drapes! WHY ARE YOU CUTTING HOLES IN THE FLOOR?!?!"

"Trust me! I'm an Independent Contractor! Now hand me a beer and WATCH THIS!"

Wow, that was great. The only thing that could've improved it is a Connie Souphanousinphone fiddle cameo.

I love me some Mike Judge. and Zac Brown, too. "Chicken Fried" is an incredibly fun song.

I love King of the Hill, I love Metalocalypse, and now I'm curious about this band. I think the video did its job.

That was a hoot.

I remember that song; I thought I had imagined it.

Fantastic. I feel like there were some shades of R. Crumb in there, too.

As a music blogger in the Midwest buckle of the Bible belt, my country kinfolk have been trying to get me to listen to (and like) Zac Brown for years now. Should have told them that they could accomplish their mission if they just got the Beavis and Butthead dude to put together a video for the band.

My sister's gonna give me so much shit for finally liking her band. Probably gonna have to go to a concert now. Damn.

I had to forward this to my roommate's 14 year old son along with the admonishment, "Don't even think about it."

I guess with the right video, even country music can be bearable
