There is endless material here for browsing.

A couple of days ago a graphic artist friend posted an image of a WWII poster she had run across--it is the same image as in Lot 21 of the August 1 auction but with a different caption. The lot contains 40 posters and has provenance so I must assume it is the original text. I've messaged my friend. Amazing. If the auction estimate didn't run into the thousands, I would so be interested in that lot! I shall enjoy perusing the rest of the catalog. I really love graphic art, especially some vintage material. The typography alone delights me.

Nothing could be more fascinating to me than a gallery like this. Ephemera, it's called, and I love it. Thanks for posting.

Lovely stuff here, and all the better for being properly described and attributed (something a little thin across tumblr-land).

My dad still gets a Swann catalog every quarter even though, post-dementia, I've let every other subscription and membership expire, and have even requested that some complimentary things stop.
