Well, it is just possible that it might be easier to prevent cockfighting than the bombing of Afghanistan. Neither of which I am in favor of.

There was a cock fighting barn (pit) in my county for many years. I went there once.What I still remember is the action, really fast at first, going to very slow-the drag pit-Massive amounts of CASH being bet. 2 county cops walking in,looking around, and leaving.The smell of hot chicken blood, which was gross. Oh, and I just remembered:A chinese guy taking all the dead birds home in a gunny sack to"use feathers for fly tying"...yeah,I saw the bastard three weeks later at the local noodle shop.
