The musical miser who gave away a million. I'm still trying to decide if this guy was whacked out of his gourd and really needed to loosen up or if he was living an admirably simple life.

It sounds like a lifestyle a bit too spartan for even my tastes - owning only a single bowl and spoon? - but given that he seemed sufficiently happy with it and that his "loss" was society's gain, more power to him.

He hoarded a million dollars that could have been circulating in the economy. Granted, it is now, but sooner seems better than later.

Well, let me tell you--I fully intend to "hoard" at least a million dollars. And why do you consider investing in the stock market (which is what he did) keeping money out of the economy?
