Tensions between residents and police in Anaheim California erupted last Saturday, when officers opened fire with non-lethal rounds on a angry crowd that included small children. A police dog also attacked civilians in the crowd but the police now claim the dog was released accidentally, and have apologized. The incident came shortly after a fatal police shooting of an unarmed suspect.

In response, on Sunday afternoon protesters stormed the lobby of the Anaheim Police HQ.

The police were allegedly offering to "purchase" the citizen videos of the events, which I find an interesting attempt to get around the part where citizens are, you know, legally allowed to record what the cops do in public. link1, link2.
