Well, they're trying real hard to get parody protection, but it sounds more like a SuperPAC ad to me. (Not that I don't appreciate the message, but I'm not so sure the courts would buy into their claims.)

Aren't parodies supposed to be humorous? Nice voices though.

Voting for Obama is *exactly* like manning the barricades.

There's an open letter on the site that's worth a read, whether you agree with what he says or his approach, the letter does reflect some of the author's reasoning for this parody.

"Les Misbarack" did it better in 2008.

This is pretty much the most awful, horrible thing I've ever heard. I didn't think it was possible to make Les Miserables worse than it already was, but apparently it is. So horribly bad. Earnest hatred is never musical.

I agree - I liked Les Misbarack better. Though watching it this morning I felt like I'd fallen into The Bizarro Aaron Sorkin Newsroom.

I love Les Mis (former high school theater nerd, can't help myself) and am unquestionably an Obama voter, but this is super cringe-y. I barely got through it.

I thought it was funny.

Needs more Michael Ball.

Though Jack from Days of Our Lives was a fun surprise.
