I started seeing the frustration and discomfort and the stuckedness of it all, being in too small a pool that's not actually a pool but one's own drinking water...as a metaphor for how I feel about my life right now. Possibly biased by my confession: sometimes I feel like a tiny elephant.

No need to be sad, iamkimiam, at least if the second video caption is to be believed. He has a whole river available, but he likes to play in the drinking tub instead. He probably got used to it when he was smaller, and hasn't yet realized that it's never going to be quite right again. Existential elephant angst may be appropriate; we all grow up and can't do what we could when we were little. But it doesn't sound like he's being abused, and he's definitely got other options. He's choosing to be there.
