Usually quite good at spotting which bit of London such things are filmed, but not this. Probably the Hoxton/Shoreditch badlands. You don't get many places with a mix of disco floors, upright pianos, fixies, birds on skates and night buses. Most unbelievable bit of the video? Such evenings, with which I may be culpably familiar, involve a creditable ratio of laughing one's tits off versus sulking into one's pint. This is as off-real as this was (how soon we forget), but not in as enjoyable a way.

Saw her doing a solo acoustic spot at the Good Ship in Kilburn not long ago. She's ace. I'm extremely unhappy that her appearance on X Factor has meant she's been forced to remove her album from iTunes. How dare an artist sell music directly to her fans? No, it must go through a middleman who takes most of the money. Gah.

Except for her strangely markered in eyebrows, she looks.. normal. I love that. Like Alyson Hannigan's younger sister or something. (I could easily develop a crush on her, no doubt!) Her voice is quite nice.

I agree, motty. I didn't realize they'd forced her to pull her album. Malice, I had a similar thought, that she is that sort of slightly-awkwardly very cute.

I discovered her via X-Factor on YouTube eight hours after her stuff was removed from iTunes and Amazon. SO PISSED OFF. Also because when it get re-released under whatever draconian contract the X-factor puts her into, she'll likely start seeing a lot less of the money from sales. Other than that, I have much love for her. And I want her to write and sing a duet with JoCo.

I watched the Beer Fear link first and actually thought it was Alyson Hannigan. This kept me watching way longer than I would have otherwise.

I heard this song before on 6Music, which I listen to at work, not in the best of circumstances and thought it was ace. Nice to put a face to the song. And yeah, haven't we all woken up thinking who am I, where am I, why is there a clown in my bed and why is he cuddling me?
