In no sense is this Neely-esque, besides that they're both animated. Also, the style in which they are animated, and drawn, and coloured, is very similar. Also, they are both set to music. Also, the style of the music to which they are set is very similar. It's pretty fucking Neely-esque. Different accent, though.

Okay. This morning in the shower I found myself chanting "Willy Bum Bum Bum Bum," and it hit me. This thing reminds me of being very young and messing around with language, stringing words together and experimenting with them just for the pleasure of making silly sounds. Hours were spent with friends slinging nonsense verses at each other and laughing at the results. And if the words had a bit of shock value, all the better to make our parents' eyes wide if they overheard! So that's why I like this. It's sheer silly fun and the drawings are perfect--too stylized to offend, yet graphic enough to elicit a response, but clearly never meant to be taken seriously. Watching this made me feel like a naughty kid again. Which felt good. So thanks for posting!
