AnExquisiteCorpse.net is a surrealist "game of folded paper that consists in having a sentence or a drawing composed by several persons, each ignorant of the preceding collaboration." Original participants included Miró and Man Ray, among others. (some additional history)

In this modern version, the participants create their sections of the "corpse" based on a 15-pixel strip of the previous section, with some pretty interesting results.

Only 15px tall? That must be very hard to do well, and yet the images have grown in appeal over successive attempts. The latest is especially nice.

This is based on the original parlor game of the same name, apparently; and is no relation to the Andrei Codrescu journal. Surely when he selected the title he could not have imagined someone would revive a 75-year-old parlor game!

Thanks me3dia, that was a blast from the past! I used to play that game in primary school. You'd fold up a piece of paper, someone would draw a head, then someone else the torso, then someone the legs. Finally you'd unfold the collective effort to reveal more often than not a hideously deformed monster that would give everyone nightmares for the rest of the week.

Eat poop, you cat is an interesting game based on Equisite Corpse. It's built around the idea of alternating drawing pictures and captions when you can only see the most recent step. Unfortunately there's no online version of it yet, but it's quite fun with friends.
