So, not entirely sure WHAT he represents, but it does seem to be metaphorical somehow.

When Cypress Hill said, "Throw your set in the air!", I didn't know what that meant either, but it sounded good at the time.

Worth it for, if nothing else, hotboxing motorcycle helmets. Heh.

Today is clearly the day that videos remind me how I should never ever ever live in SoCal.

Come on, it's got something to do with Jesus. Doesn't it?

I'm with carsonb. I spent most of that video wondering What's The Point, until I got it - yep, Hotboxing Helmets it is! Represent indeed.

More self-conscious editing I never did see.

Good, too many people live here as it is.

So confused. Was it a cautionary tale?

That video contained 1 more cop than I've ever seen in SF.

Shit, they found BOTH of the last two functioning Fiat X1/9s in California for this video? Major budget, dude, major.

Jack Uzi isn't a guy. Jack Uzi is a way.

Whoa. I just blew my own mind.

Actually I think the cars were ambushed. It's common for aficionados to meet on the weekend in LA. You'll see them driving up and down the 101 fairly often. My favorite are the Miata clubs. 5 cute little tricked out coupes all in an orderly line.

At first glance, I thought this was going to be Will Ferrell and I thought "AWESOME!" Disappointed.

Perhaps too literally, I was waiting for some awesome skates action. This didn't deliver.

He had a bat in the cave at 3:17. Boogers make everything fascinating, right?

I like how everyone in the film adopts the correct expression when regarding this dude. (Miatas are coupes?)

I loved how intentionally location-anonymous the video is. It's of a place, but it's not going to show anything that's an easy identifier. It avoids showing the name of the transit system, the street names, iconic store names, anything, really but The Dude on Skates pursuing his mission.

It's like long stretches of the movie Drive in that way. You know it's in Los Angeles because of the professions of some of the characters, but it's all anonymous cityscape.

I had the perfect absolutely perfect analysis of this music video.

But I forgot it.

I'm sorry. Did this somehow require more 'purpose' than to show off a gorgeous man? A man seemingly heterosexual, but perhaps not quite. At the least, a man who understands that some men are going to find him attractively manly.

Oh, look. There's a video of interviews with the crew who made this outstanding documentary.
