Well isn't this just super cool? Love and Rockets creators Gilbert and Jaime Hernandez were on NPR last week to talk about the music that helped shape their groundbreaking alt comics series. (Just in time for me to figure out my Hopey Halloween costume! Easier said than done, it turns out.)

When I read Love and Rockets I thought of these guys. Those guys took their name from the comic. (After dumping the name Tones on Tail)

They were just on Latino USA, too. And they're in Rolling Stone this month. Big media blitz from Los Bros. When I read Love and Rockets I thought of these guys. When those guys read Love and Rockets they thought of a band name.

I always hated Love and Rockets (the band), and I hated them double for appropriating the name of a hella cool comic that I loved. Seriously, fuck those guys (even if they DID come from Bauhaus).
