Heh. Thanks. And Private Eye, the mother of all Onions, is 40 today! Talking of Bin Laden, has anybody seen him and legendary cricketer W.G.Grace in the same place at the same time?

And in other news...
Secret agent injured by self-destructing message
"...Investigators say the high-tech device functioned normally and exploded after the 30-second interval as required by government regulations. However, Krittenden, who was traveling on a crowded train at the time, was unable to find a safe place to dispose of the device quickly enough."

I always wondered about that. They never show you the truth on Mission Impossible reruns! They always get rid of the top secret device just before it blows off a hand. How many top secret agents are maimed every year because the CIA wants to protect national security? It's an outrage! Thank God for The Brains Trust! What laser-tipped reporting! Wow! Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go finish reading my copy of The Cartoon History Of The Universe Volume Two.

My, does that sound like an Onion-worthy headline or what?
(except, of course, isn't from The Onion this time, as hard it can be to believe that)

Actually I think nearly all the news sites have turned into the same thing with different clothes.

A humour site that has to proclaim just how much the media love it in its masthead somehow kinda gives the game away that it isn't going to be exactly a barrel full of laughs...
