I thought I was enjoying this witty little video, but youtube user Becky Cheek has declared it "stupid."

Who are we to doubt YouTube user Becky Cheek?

Kept waiting for the paper-thought-the-head gimmick. Was disappointed. Will not be voting for Bob Kerrey.

Here comes the lawsuit from Chris Dodd and the Origami Boulder guy.

Yes but what if it IS stupid? It's pretty stupid. I mean, really.

I love the Steve Martin.

Stupid my ass.

If all political advertising were like this (non-sensationalist, forthright, and at least attempting to be witty and well done), the world would be a much better place.

Hello, I am a celebrity. I'd like to take a moment of your time to talk about the current election. I know you're probably tired of talking heads like me going on and on this time of year, but I think this is an important issue that has been sadly ignored by the mainstream media who are more eager to focus on sensationalist issues like what faction a candidate plays in World of Warcraft or how quality paper wads are made.

The fact is, candidate Milton Otherguy poops his pants.

There, I said it.

Milton Otherguy is a pants pooper.

Is he currently pooping his pants? That's not for me to speculate. But what we can be sure of is that Milton Otherguy has, at some point in his life, had feces emerge from his bottom into an article of clothing he wore. He's certainly never denied that fact. Why has Milton Otherguy not stood up and admitted that he's pooped his pants? What else could he be hiding from you?

It's time to man up, Milton. Admit that you pooped your pants so we can move this election forward and focus on the real issues, not your dirty bottom.

Mod note: Folks, maybe don't go off on a sort of weird "let's google stalk this random internet person for being wrong about a thing" trail? Act like this is Metafilter, thank you.

Steve Martin, in my humble (and unpopular) opinion, is kind of Ho Hum.
But the Origami Boulder Guy? Thank you! Thank you!

Wow! Editing!!!!

The Origami Boulder guy is forcing the Engrish a little too hard to be funny, I think.

On the other hand, artist Tom Friedman has done some clever things with wadded up (and unwadded) paper: 1 2

I am Bob Kerrey, and I can honestly say that I did not know about this message until now, so I'm not sure yet if I approve it or not

I am actually going to vote for Bob Kerrey. Not too optimistic, though.

Bob was fun to skewer back in the 80s, what with his hawt celebrity relationships in the governer's mansion, the general crappiness of the restaurants he owned, and such. Sort of glad I live across the river so I don't feel obligated to vote for him. His return to Nebraska to run for Senate is/has been objectively sleazy. He's a metric craptonne better than Fischer though.

The good news is I get to vote against Rep. King in November. Excited about that regardless of the chances of his defeat.
