who the hell would spend the time to take a picture of those shoes and put it up on e-bay with the hopes of getting an outrages price of $9. People must be extremly bored.

If you look at what else the guy is selling, he's setting up a second hand shoe business on e-bay. I thought this was some sort of a joke but there are dozens of them.

This is one of the things that makes the Internet so great. 10 years ago, if you wanted to shop for used, smelly running shoes from your desk, you were SOL.
