One morning a couple of years ago I was on desk at the library and a patron's cellphone went off; the ringtone was an r&b song I didn't recognize that was just chock-freakin'-full of swears. This always prompts frantic scrambling around through purses or backpacks, but I was surprised when the phone turned out to belong not to one of the teens but to a furiously blushing woman who was old enough to be someone's grandmother.
