Antivirus Pioneer John McAfee Reportedly Wanted for Murder

Four days ago Gizmodo reported that John McAfee's home in Belize had been raided by police searching for drugs. Cash4Lead posted details of this in the blue three days ago, linking two two Gizmodo articles; a mostly positive one from 2010, and the recent much darker one.
Today Gizmodo reports that John McAfee is wanted for the murder of a fellow American expatriate.
Gizmodo also shows posts from a Russian message board, purported to be by Mr. McAfee, detailing experimentation with the drug Methylenedioxypyrovalerone (MPVD)
In an update Gizmodo has added what they report to be the official police statement, which details the murder but makes no mention of John McAfee. It should be noted that I have not been able to confirm this story from an independent news source.
