Technically, these aren't photographs of reflections but rather examples of water's lensing ability.

That doesn't make these photos any less cool or beautiful.

Very pretty, though the smiley faces are freaking me out. I especially like seeing the water on all that close-up flower stalk texture.

Stunning! I love this one. Reminds me of the beautiful film Microcosmos (Trailer).

Previous posts on Markus Reugels are worth a look, too.

I dream of taking pictures like this ... thanks for sharing.

As nice as those images are, from what I can tell from their "about us" page, that site is a thinly veiled keyword-spam adfarm.

I agree, mhoye. At least they are giving image credits. That's a step up from the normal spammy adfarm list post.

TheWhiteSkull: I have a hat!
You misspelled "haz". Also, that is not a cat, AFAICT. Can a cat owner double-check me on that?

Well, yes of course. Many spiders speak perfectly good English- at least those from Anglophone countries, or the ones who have taken it in school.

This poem comes to mind...

The difference between you and her
(whom I to you did once prefer)
Is clear enough to settle:
She like a diamond shone, but you
Shine like an early drop of dew
Poised on a red rose petal.

The dew-drop carries in its eye
Mountain and forest, sea and sky,
With every change of weather;
Contrariwise, a diamond splits
The prospect into idle bits
That none can piece together.

I almost passed by this thread. Those are gorgeous. Just amazing.

But thanks to mhoye now I understand why the images were accompanied by robot-speak copy and an ad for Culligan water softener.
