why does this dog have on shoes? I could only watch about 30 seconds of this. Can any one explain what is cute about this? the dog doesn't seem to think so............

In places where the roads and sidewalks are salted during the winter, if you don't put little shoes on your dog, their feet will crack and bleed. Bloody dog feet are not cute. Tiny shoes are.

Also Barkley has allergies and the skin in between dog toes is v. sensitive and tends to break out very easily, so shoes will protect the skin from street gunk during an allergy outbreak.

That's hilarious! Me and the Husky walk at a local park a lot in the winter, I've been thinking of getting her boots, they are salting the walking trail more these days. Now I HAVE to get her a pair...
