"Kurisu-san suggested we study different types of penises in order to create figure out the relative shape and size people would draw. We spent a week doing that before we realized that we should have been looking at drawings of penises rather than real-life pictures. (laughs)"

Hahaha! Oh, Kurisu-san!

Kurisu: Ahem, uh. Some users would take to drawing penises.
Everyone: (laughs)
Kurisu: Well, it’s true. It seems to be more of a phenomenon found in the west.
Well maybe if we Westerners had the Festival of the Steel Phallus, we'd get it out of our system elsewhere.

This is a recurring problem in Nintendo games; how many penises do you see in this image?

Would it be jumping the gun to call shenanigans on this story? There's no way in hell a family/kid-friendly company like Nintendo is putting out an interview like this.

Did anyone catch the subversive message here?

They are practically pleading with us to draw pics of vaginas on Miiverse. There are 0 checks for that.

You know what to do.
