I've seen animated gifs with better video quality.

The original hi def one was taken down for some reason. Here is a hi-def version, with music playing over it.

Looks fun! Now someone mix the high def video with no music audio...

I watched this last week, and kept wondering when the hill ends. What is the elevation of Taxco?

Also, HOLEEEEE MIERDA!!!1!

That was awesome, and you know what would have been even better?
If in the last 15 seconds he would run into a screaming flock of geese, swerve not to hit them and then crash into the pole in the middle of the road, which will send him off flying into a balcony on the second floor, and the last shot of the camera will be a peek into a bedroom where a hot couple is making sweet love in the afternoon

HD version with original sound. It might even be the source for the downsampled Guardian version - it was certainly published earlier.

There we go, if the mods could replace the first link with the link MOD linked to that would be great.

I like these things but always am left wishing the camera would have been tilted up by some small amount, like 2 or 3, so there would be little more headroom in the shot.

It would be a greater challenge if they left the streets open to the Domino's pizza guys on motos zipping by and the VW Microbus combis that act as the public transit system.

That video was tripping off all my Assassin's Creed memories, for some reason. I kept expecting him to catch up to somebody else on a mountain bike and shank them.

It's very impressive that he can hold the camera completely still on the descend.

Mod note: Replaced link; carry on.

Pretty intense, I like the perhaps shorter but steeper run in Valparaiso (Port city in Chile, that has 8 or 9 trams up the side of the hills).

Better link, a competitive run (dog at 0:40). I mean, these are long stairs that I'd be real careful *walking* down.

Damn this is scary. I let out little squeals just watching.

I also kinda want to... do this. Oh god I'm insane. But I kinda want to do this. I also don't because, well, I'm fuckin' 41 now and too aware of the possibility of death for sports like this.

I love these videos. The reconfiguration of urban space is fantastic.

So awesome. On the 'reconfiguration of urban space' front there was also a similar skateboarding event done this year. Bit tame after watching the biking, but still would be good to see it through the eyes of a GoPro...
