WELL SOMEONE'S GOING TO HAVE TO CLEAR THIS ALL UP WHEN YOU'RE DONE AND IT'S NOT ME! I had a similar thought looking at the pictures; also, reminded me of the (extremely) slow-motion version. The resulting forms are cool-looking, though. Sort of like a 3 dimensional Pollock.

I wondered about the clean up also and how they keep bugs away. Still, the colors and shows are mesmerizing, along with the uniqueness of each piece, even when they're similar. There's a soft and lazy sensuality to the way the toffee falls not only to the ground, but also when it's folding into itself. The realization that the materials are simple is a nice reminder that art and beauty are everywhere, if you look.

That's just awesome! Toffee cleans up pretty easily with water, much more easily than it seems like it should, but it's only sugar.

Making candy isn't difficult, but it isn't easy either and what must be carefully done on the stove-top must have been a real challenge in that configuration.

Given how much sticky snack stuff the western world consumes, I'd imagine the automated industrial technology for this kind of thing is pretty mature. Her entire oeuvre would be five minutes' run-off for Cadbury's.
