I'm usually down with the squick-horror-revulsion, but I'm not really feeling all that bad about this. There are any number of leather and/or fur adorned pieces of jewelry, including rings. If you didn't know it was human skin instead of, say, a rhino, it probably wouldn't warrant a second thought.

If you didn't know it was human skin instead of, say, a rhino, it probably wouldn't warrant a second thought. Wrong. The ring is all kinds of gross (it has HAIR), but the video in the link is actually pretty interesting. I'm always fascinated by seeing surgery performed, because it looks a lot less precise than you'd think. In this one, the plastic surgeon guy has to do what seems like a lot of cutting just to take off a small piece of skin.
