Because you can't, you won't, and you don't stop learning: Oscar, Grover, and Cookie Monster rockin' the Beastie Boys' "Sure Shot."

A version with only the first verse was posted here previously, but fortunately, this full version was indeed made.

And, if you're up for it, the Cookie Monster "rap" footage is originally from the late '80s song, "Healthy Food."

I have long dreamed, but lack the equipment, skills and time, to edit Silence of the Lambs Foster/Hopkins interview footage so Agent Clarice Starling asks all the regular questions, but Hannibal Lecter replies in song while she looks on, baffled and horrified, until joining in at around 2:18.

I put this out into the universe in the hopes that somebody with the right gifts can make this happen.

Nice! But they missed an opportunity for a cameo by the Count on "Well it's The Taking of the Pelham 123."

Cookie Monster in his gold chains and gangster poses made this for me.

This is probably my favorite genre of silly internet videos. If I had to pick a favorite (just because it makes so irrationally fucking happy), I'd probably pick this one.

Great stuff and awesome that it keeps continuity throughout the whole thing, i.e. Oscar always does the MCA lines.

Bert laying down the beat is pretty great too.

Oh wow. Am I a horrible person for wanting a muppeteer to do this for real and then slip it, saboteur style, into a PBS satellite feed?

I don't know if it's intentional or not, but when they get to the line "I've got more rhymes than I got grey hairs/and that's a lot because I've got my share" it's so close to "I've got more rhymes than I got green hairs" while being sung by Oscar that it's creepy-good.
