This post was deleted for the following reason: Neat for the Discworld fans, but if it's a paid app and all else there is to the post is a couple paragraphs blurbing said app this is probably not going to work great as a mefi post. -- cortex

What's an app? Is it some sort of gadget for the clackers?

While I understand that after a certain point, there's enough consistent material out there that there's very little excuse not to do this sort of thing--and the demand is certainly there--I do sort of miss when Discworld was a bit less crystallized, and the freedom that went with that. It's the same problem of continuity and boundaries that every serial storytelling runs into eventually (comics!), but I do own a few books with "There are no maps. You can't map a sense of humour" inscribed in them.

Which isn't to say I'm not buying the thing and wasting way too much time with it...

It's a way to teach the imp in your Dis-organizer to do something new.

True, but that changed with the release of the physical Mapps years and years ago. I think there was even something in those addressing that note, but I don't remember what it said.

Now I just need the Android version...

How far apart are the Watch headquarters and Vetinari's palace? Exactly as far as they need to be for the plot and/or a good joke to work.
