Ok yeah, that was absolutely worth the couple minutes it took to install UWP. I also appreciate your not "spoiling" it ahead of time, as the ping of recognition combined with the tension and crushing claustrophobia was a weirdly satisfying experience.

Of course, I died almost immediately.

Oh man.. Seriously triggers claustrophobia for sure. A real treat :)

I have played with Unity3D before. It expect it's easier to make the FPS shooter version of this game than it would be to make the classic version.

The music and sound effects really helped make that fun. Agreed - worth the minutes or so of downloading UWP.

No inverted mouse option makes this extra hard for me. Still, a cool take on things.

hahah, you will all have UWP soon!

Also, I liked this a bunch.

Heh - I just installed Unity last night at the insistence of a game dev friend who swears by it.

I read about this game on reddit. I heard people say "oooh scary" though I'm didn't find it particularly scary. Maybe it hits people's claustrophobia and since I'm not claustrophobic, it didn't do anything for me?

Anyways, when I first saw the link I thought it was going to be to 3-Demon (from 1983). Yeah - I just went full on hipster.

This reminds me of the Wolfenstein 3D level but more dramatic.

I could only think of Metroid due to the music and I left-clicked hoping this version might have afforded our friend a nice pulse weapon or similar (a possible joke in a joke).

Oooooh. Love this. And yes, totally worth the quick Unity install. Thanks for posting it.

Remember to disable Unity in FireFox when you're finished. Because man does it hoover memory.

Anyways, when I first saw the link I thought it was going to be to 3-Demon (from 1983).

3-Demon terrified me when I was about 8, not least because on my parents' 4MHz XT the "teeth closing" animation (at about 1:38 in this video) lasted about 20 seconds.

Then I remembered when I spoiled the "Darth Vader is Luke's father" secret for my next-door neighbor when I was a kid some 30+ years ago

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I mean, I was planning to see it eventually.

I figured out what it was from the title immediately, but I use Ubuntu at work. Just got home and tried it. Nicely done, but I ... didn't want to play much of it.

So nobody thought this was going to be a Fozzie Bear post? Just me huh.

And the only reason that this is "scary" is because of the music. If you played the Benny Hill theme song it'd take on those characteristics as well.
