Stompin' Tom Connors, dead at 77. Considered one of Canada's preeminent folk singers, Connors covered topics from PEI potatoes to snowmobiling to what to do in Sudbury on a Saturday night. He was most famous for penning hockey's unofficial anthem. In Skinner's Pond, Prince Edward Island, a video tour of the now defunct Stompin' Tom Museum covers much of his younger life and his impact on Canadians across many generations.
