and I finished it. I think that might be the first Eyezmaze game I've done without a walkthrough. 741 steps! TIME FOR SOME SLEEP

Oh that was fun! Yes, first Eyezmaze without a walkthrough for me, too.

I won't leave my step result because it is embarrassingly high. But no walkthrough! I am a survivor!

I think I might have gotten it into a state that can't be solved. I'll come back to it later when I've had some sleep.

Unless it's a bug, I'm pretty sure all resources remain renewable until their purpose/s is/are completely fulfilled. So no need to worry.

There is a mysterious bit with some colored doors that took me a minute of frantic clicking around, but I worked it out by the tried and true point and click method of looking at everything from every available direction and finding the differences.

Finished it.

Around 800 moves. The perspective changes/rotations threw me. Spent more moves than I should figuring out how to leave such places.

And the animations had me busting up.

Am I the only one that was excited about a new corn farming flash game?

make sure you take a tour of the maze again after you finish it.

1138 steps. I'm happy with that number.

the mouse...damn you.

oh, yay! I was just replaying some of these last week and wishing there was a new one.

Yeah, I don't quite understand how I caught the mouse, but I did, damn it.

788 here. I'll take it.

I love Eyemaze's games. I just wish they'd implement separate volume controls for the effects and the music.

The mouse...is still eluding me.
But this is fantastic.

Flashing back to Goonies II for the NES. Eventually, I'm going to give up because I won't be able to find the ladder, right?

Done. 828 steps. Some...tricky...parts there.

MOUSE HINTS BELOW

The mouse wants something. If there is a clear way to get to it, he will take that route, but if there is no clear route...

MOUSE HINTS END

Does the pit not count as a clear path? I was confused about what blocked him and what didn't.
posted by Elementary Penguin at 11:29 AM on March 11, 2013

The pit is perfectly passable. Only things that stop you will stop the mouse.

I know it's cheating but – http://jayisgames.com/archives/2013/03/grow_maze.php

I do all the hard work for y'all and no one sees it. *grumpyface*

Whoa....this is like legend of Grimrock...except it's an Eyezmaze..

I finally finished it (with some cheating). No idea how many steps I took since my goal screen had no step count on it, but I honestly have no idea how anyone completes these games without a walkthrough...

OH geez, I'm sorry. I totally didn't see that. @_@

How do you tour the maze after the goal? My goal screen is just congratulating me & not letting me move along.

It knows that deep down you feel you're unworthy of the congratulations. You have to really come to terms with that and internalize it before it will let you move on.

This is some ending-of-AI shit right here.

We have lingered in the chambers of the sea
By sea-girls wreathed with seaweed red and brown
Till human voices wake us, and we drown.

Well that wa a lot easier once I figured out one needs to click with the mouse to interact with objects.
posted by Mitheral at 6:27 PM on March 13, 2013

LOL butts.

My screen froze after I finished too, no step count and no option to turn around and explore. The only thing I could click on the game was the sound. I clicked it and some music played, and I hastily clicked it again to mute. Still nothing. I clicked the sound again and gritted my teeth. After the 'Congratulations' chime finished, my step count appeared and now I'm going to go explore like empath says.

(415, but my browser crashed twice while I was playing before so about 3/4 of those 415 steps was stuff I'd already spent twice as many steps figuring out.)
