Shot in 2006, the music video for Ladytron's "International Dateline" was unreleased until now.

Huh, what you read here is about all there is. It was 'rediscovered.'

Anyone else get the feeling that the director spent a lot of time stairing at Man Ray photos and maybe The Passion of Joan of Arc?

Yes! That is the weirdest part. They acknowledge it but that's the long and short of any info. The weirdest thing is how much closer it is to their visual aesthetic from 604 (like the video for "Blue Jeans") than Witching Hour.

I dig the use of the display refresh rate to frame portions of the image.

Man, I'm glad they waited to release this. I seriously don't think I could handle the audacity of a girl with raccoon eyes blinking every couple of seconds back in 2006.

If you like that music / video, perhaps you will also like this music / video: Julia Holter - Goddess Eyes II

Last time they rely on Friendster for their viral marketing!

Ladytron is awesome, and Witching Hour is quite possibly my favorite album of theirs.

Also, nostrils!
